Meet Victoria

My name is Victoria Davis, CPDT-KA, and I am 29 years old. I am married and we have one child, Jayden, who is 10 years old and shares a passion for animals. We have four dogs ourselves. Loki, is a 12 year old Pug Boston Terrier rescue, and we have had him since he was two years old. Although Loki is our “old man,” he is very young and playful still at heart. Winston is a two year old Australian Shepherd we acquired due to his fear reactivity issues, and he is best friends with our 10 year old son. Regulus is a one year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and is always happy and eager to meet people. Sirius is our two year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who is very much what I like to refer to as my heart dog. Sirius made me fall in love with Corgis, and how versatile they can be with training – from herding, scent work, therapy dogs, and obedience – all the way to agility. I am a CPDT-KA Certified Dog Trainer, an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, an AKC Temperament Test Evaluator, and I am Animal First Aid and CPR Certified.  Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been an animal lover, who grew up wanting to help people too. When I began my training journey, I knew that this is what I was meant to do. This is my passion. I get to help people and their dogs bond and grow together. I get to teach humans how to communicate effectively with their dogs and that’s a blessing I’m thankful for every day.

My Training Philosophy

“I believe dog training is about strengthening your relationship with your dog through science-based methods. Reinforcement drives behaviors. If you reinforce a behavior, good or bad, that behavior will be repeated. I believe not every dog learns the same way, so there isn’t a one size fits all in training. I believe in training the dog in front of you.” ~ Victoria
